TAI CHI IS AN ANCIENT MARTIAL ART, BASED ON YIN AND YANG THEORY, THE EIGHT TRIGRAMS AND THE FIVE ELEMENTS. IT INCORPORATES THE BREATH
AND POSTURE THROUGH MOVEMENTS KNOWN AS THE FORM. LEARNING THE FORM TEACHES YOU TO ALIGN THE BODY SO THE ENERGY CAN FLOW UNIMPEDED.
SLOW MOVEMENTS AND SHIFTS OF BALANCE STRENGTHENS THE LEGS AND CONDITIONS THE TENDONS AND LIGAMENTS OF THE ANKLES, KNEES AND HIPS, GIVING THE STUDENT A BETTER RANGE OF MOTION. YOU WILL HAVE INCREASED OXYGEN INTAKE, REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE AND GREATER BONE DENSITY.
